Deborah Reeves is an accomplished award winning Voice Actor specializing in commercials, animation, video games, and audiobooks. Notable clients include Nike, Amazon, Kleenex, Airbnb, Indeed, and more. In addition to voiceover performance she has worked as an audio engineer for over 15 years with top level talent like Alicia Keys, John Cena, Alan Arkin, and more. She also teaches college-level audio production across San Diego. Deborah understands what the client wants from both sides of the mic and takes joy in sharing that knowledge with students and other voice over talent.
Dru Scott has many credits in the field of Voice-Over and Commercials and has done spots for Fischer-Price, Orion Computers, American Airlines, Cadillac, Merrick College, the US Navy, and many more. Dru is a vocal producer and works with many recording studios in Southern California and has appeared on TV series such as 18 Wheels of Justice. She is a member of SAG-AFTRA, and the National Speakers Association. Dru has taught and lectured for the Screen Actors Guild, San Diego School’s Gate Program, Del Mar Media Arts, Grossmont College and also works with corporate executives and professional speakers to help develop their vocal skills.
Founder and developer of the school, Dru teaches Voice-over and has helped the careers of TV personalities Mario Lopez (Saved by the Bell), Carey Scott (Making the Grade, 21 Jump Street), Torrey Anne Cook (The Wonder Years), and Tom Fiss (The Full Monty).
Scott Higby is the Principal Director of Studio C, an Emmy award winning sound studio. Specializing in all aspects of voice over production for over 30 years, Scott developed the curriculum for The Voice Recording Bootcamp alongside Deb with the goal of empowering voice talent to take full charge of their careers. Scott is passionate about sharing his knowledge of voiceover production with students, clients and colleagues and is excited to help you improve your skills and build your career.
Gordon Jump was associated with the school since its inception. He helped create the content of the Courses and before his passing he previously taught here as a full time instructor. He was an advocate for what the school teaches and endorsed its content and its mission, as well as its teaching staff. Gordon was best known for his roles in WKRP in Cincinnati and as The Maytag Man on TV. We miss him.
